Sup! This is Jeremy and Alice, the owners and late night workers of BABCO. He does bread and she does pastry. They’ve been married since 2014, together since 2013 and in business together for what feels like an eternity 😜 Their dream is to make BABCO warm, inviting and a place the community can be proud of.
We think we make the BEST Hot Cross Buns! Inspired by traditional English Tea Cakes our buns are delicately spiced, soft and yeasty with a brioche-style dough (aka enriched with butter, eggs and milk). The fruit is pre soaked in cointreau and port to make an already amazing bun even more luxurious. The cross is a lemon vanilla biscuit and the baked bun is glazed with and orange infused brandy sugar syrup. $18 for 1/2 DOZ buns and in store now right up till Easter Friday.
